The annual Mondiale Omaha Beach Pro Am attracted a field of 52 professionals and 150 amateurs when it was played on March 14 and 15.
Despite the dry conditions, Omaha club patron Steve Marshall said the greens were in top condition.
The professionals were playing for a total purse of $30,000, while amateurs shared $5000 in prizes. The Saturday night dinner, which included a fundraising auction, attracted around 200.
The first professionals home were Harry Bateman on 131 gross, Gareth Paddison on 132, Peter Fowler on 134, and Mason Lee, Michael Hendry, Richard Lee and Kieran Muir, all on 136.

The Barfoot & Thompson Warkworth Women’s Pro Am is now in its fifth year.

Two-time winner Harry Bateman didn’t get his hat trick in Warkworth despite a good performance at Omaha.
Meanwhile, Warkworth Golf Club Barfoot & Thompson Women’s Pro Am had a full complement on March 16 with 28 teams and 129 players.
Pro Am committee member Jan Parish says the tournament is unique as it’s the only amateur event for women on the NZPGA Pro Am circuit.
“The professionals also enjoy it because it’s a different kind of banter to the usual on the golf course,” she says.
This year three women professional players entered the tournament, up on just one entrant last year.
The top prize for the amateurs was a ‘stay and play’ package at Keri Keri. Meanwhile professional players shared a prize pool of $11,000.
Professional winners were Luke Toomey on 63, Dongwoo Kang on 64 and David Klein on 64.
The winning amateur team was a group of local Warkworth ladies who claimed their second victory. The team consisted of Jill Ronald, Gaye Decker and Sue Cook.
